Georgia - 21

Georgia began working in a supported café where young adults learned essential employment skills. This included kitchen and coffee-making skills, money handling, and developing communication techniques while serving customers.

Hayden supports clients with Down syndrome to complete daily living tasks and engages in the community, including participation in the FIDA football competition.

He works as a School Learning Support Officer (SLSO) at Glenroy Public School in a Multi-Categorical (MC) classroom.

Lachie has over five years of experience working in childcare and disability support, assisting children, young people, and individuals with additional needs.

He began his career in Out of School Hours Care (OOSH), supporting children aged 5–12 in after-school and holiday programs.

Merick has almost two years of experience working in disability support, assisting individuals with Down syndrome, wheelchair users, and participants with a range of other disabilities. He supports people with daily tasks and personal needs, while encouraging and guiding them to actively engage within the community.

Anne - 58

With over 20 years of experience in educational and community settings, Anne supports children and young people with diverse needs across both mainstream and special education environments. Her experience includes one-to-one and small group support for individuals with autism, Down syndrome, anxiety, and complex behaviours, as well as in-home life skills development and community participation.

Tahlia - 23

Tahlia has been working in disability support for just over a year and began her career with working for a not-for-profit organization, working within accommodation services. In this role, they supported participants with personal care and daily living tasks.

Elijah - 23

Elijah is a caring and motivated individual who is passionate about supporting people to live fulfilling and independent lives. Through volunteering with refugees, he has developed strong empathy, patience, and the ability to support people from diverse backgrounds. As a qualified carpenter who has trained apprentices, Elijah enjoys mentoring others and helping people build confidence, develop skills, and achieve their goals.
