Georgia began working in a supported café where young adults learned essential employment skills. This included kitchen and coffee-making skills, money handling, and developing communication techniques while serving customers.
She transitioned into community support work, providing mostly one-to-one support to adults and some teenagers. Her role included attending allied health sessions, supporting individuals with domestic tasks, and assisting them to access activities and services within the community.
Georgia enrolled in university to study Occupational Therapy (OT), which she is currently completing.
Georgia gained experience working as an Allied Health Assistant, primarily supporting young children with autism. This involved assisting with communication, writing, and play-based skill development. She also returned to one-to-one community support, assisting individuals in their workplaces and supporting them with general social and community-based tasks.
