Hayden supports clients with Down syndrome to complete daily living tasks and engages in the community, including participation in the FIDA football competition.
He works as a School Learning Support Officer (SLSO) at Glenroy Public School in a Multi-Categorical (MC) classroom. In this role, he provides differentiated learning support and creates tailored learning environments to meet students’ individual learning and social needs, supporting their success in the classroom.
Hayden was the Manager of an after-school care facility in Baranduda, where he developed differentiated play spaces and implemented behavior management strategies to support students when unsettled.
Alongside this experience, Hayden is studying to become a teacher and is currently completing a degree in Personal Development, Health and Physical Education.
